A Day in Fairyland
At Fairyland we know the importance of a stimulating, educational, supportive and fun environment to a child’s wellbeing and development. Our facility is designed to allow us to care for children in the most appropriate way.
Our purpose built premises is 4,500 square feet in size. Our rooms are large spaces providing children with the right space to learn and grow. We have worked hard to ensure that all of our rooms are fitted and equipped with everything a child might need, from educational and stimulation materials to fund and creative puzzles and games. We are especially proud of our enclosed outdoor playground. This large space provides our children with valuable outdoor play time and fresh air that encourages their sense of adventure and discovery.
Fairyland Crèche is conveniently located in Oranmore – just off the Dublin Road Roundabout. It is easy to get to from many locations so parents and kids can have an easy and stress-free drop-off and pick up.

Our Programmes
At Fairyland Crèche we understand that every family will have different childcare needs. We provide a range of programmes to suit all requirements. Our programmes are available on a full time, part time, or sessional basis.
Our programmes are designed and operated in a safe, caring, and encouraging environment. No matter your child’s age or abilities you can be sure that they will receive the appropriate care and education. In addition to education, our aim is to encourage your child’s independence, individuality in a space that fosters creativity and curiosity and encourages learning and growth.
Crèche
We provide day care services for children between 6 months and three years of age. Our Baby Fairies are aged between 6 and 12 months. Little Pixies are our 1-2 year old toddlers and children between 2-3 years old are our Fireflies.
Depending on your child’s age they will partake in various activities designed to stimulate their brains and encourage development in a fun and playful environment. We keep class sizes small so our teachers can provide dedicated time, care, and support to each child.
Montessori
Children aged 3 – 5 make up our Montessori classes. Our qualified teachers have the skills and knowledge to communicate with children in a constructive and fun way. Educational lessons and fun activities are designed to set your child up for their school days and encourage personal growth.
Our teachers and classes are here to further develop your Child’s individuality and creativity and to meet their learning, social, physical, and emotional needs. Once lessons are over your child can participate in wide variety of games and activities, including outdoor play.
Breakfast Club
In Fairyland, we appreciate that work schedules can’t always work around school timetables. That is why we offer parents a Breakfast Club service. Children in our breakfast will receive a delicious and nutritional breakfast before programmes begin at Fairyland.
For older school children we will drop them off at their school at the start of the school day. We provide this drop off service to all local schools in Oranmore.
Afterschool
Fairyland provides an afterschool service for children between 5 and 15 years old. Children will be picked up from school and brought back to Fairyland. The children are provided a space in which they can do their homework, helped by our wonderful teachers. Once homework is complete your child is free to, and is encouraged to, participate in a variety of playtime activities.
A hot meal is also provided to all children. We collect from all local schools in Oranmore.

Nutrition
A child’s diet is just as important to their development as their education and environment. We want all of the children in our care to be introduced to healthy foods as early as possible in order to encourage and foster a healthy lifestyle as they grow.
All meals provided by Fairyland are created along the very latest nutritional guidelines and recommendations. Our menus rotate every three weeks so your child can have a varied and balanced diet while in our care. We do our very best to cater for most dietary requirements.

Settling In
At Fairyland, we work together with parents over a settling in period from a few days up to 2 weeks (age dependent) to ensure that your child is happy and comfortable in their new “home away from home”.
During this period, as your child settles in and establishes a bond with the Educator’s, we learn about your child’s daily routine, their mealtimes, sleeping patterns and all the other little things special to your child.
We work with you to make this transition as smooth as possible for both you and your child. Please see the guide below for settling in with the Baby Fairies.
