Little Pixies (1 Year +)
Happy 1st birthday to your little one! You officially have a toddler now. Toddlerhood comes with a fun new set of adorable moments while reaching new milestones. Our “Little Pixies” have time to explore and experiment independently while still receiving the cuddles, affection and loving attention they experienced as a baby.
As their brain is developing at warp speed the Fairy Godmothers create a jam packed fun filled day for all using praise, encouragement and positive attention to help them progress. You will see your child learning how to use those tiny fingers and notice their mobility picking up along with your child starting to understand what you say to him/her and by the year’s end, you might even understand some of what he says to you as we work on developing vocabulary and language skills.
Outdoor play is a big part of healthy growth, learning, development and wellbeing for your child. It is great fun too. Playing outside gives your child the chance to explore the natural environment and have adventures. We play games, test physical limits, allow the children to express themselves and build their self-confidence.
Our Little Pixies need about 12-13 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period to support their rapid mental and physical development. That is usually 10-12 hours at night and 1-2 hours during the day. Each child has their own cot with their own cellular blanket in Fairyland and we will encourage a positive attitude towards sleep through a stay and support method.
